How we started

We started on the inside.

Our founders built their careers inside banks, insurers and engineering organisations. That experience shaped one clear belief: clients need a technology partner for the whole journey, from first assessment to production.

Not a firm that hands off after the diagnosis.

AI and software built for production workloads: real transactions, real decisions, real users.

That is what Dutch Technology Frontiers was built to deliver.

What we stand for

Four principles.

They shape every engagement, and they're the criteria we use when deciding what to take on.

01

Integrity

We say what we find. If there's a deal-breaker, you get the truth and the evidence behind it.

02

Excellence

Only proven engineers work on your project. Nobody learns on your budget.

03

Innovation

If a tool doesn't help you ship faster and scale smarter, we don't use it.

04

Partnership

We stay for the build. Clients come back because the work was excellent, not out of obligation.

How we're different

No pyramid. No handoffs.

Senior engineers do the work, and the person who scoped the project is still on it in month six.

Pyramid model Our model Partner sells Juniors deliver Senior people do the work Senior time goes into the sale. Senior time goes into the work.
  1. 01

    Small by design

We stay small and senior, and grow through deeper client work rather than headcount.

  2. 02

    Regulation-ready by default

Headquartered in Rotterdam and built around GDPR, DORA, NIS2 and the EU AI Act, for clients across Europe and North America.

  3. 03

    Same team, every phase

The architect who scopes it delivers it. No handoffs and no rediscovery.

Our team

The team that delivers.

The people you meet on the first call are the people who do the work.

FAQ

About us, answered.

What does Dutch Technology Frontiers do?

We're a technology consultancy headquartered in Rotterdam. We deliver technology due diligence for investors, fractional tech leadership for startups and scaleups, and custom AI and software development for established companies. One senior team carries every engagement from assessment to production.

Who do you typically work with?

Three groups: PE, VC and M&A teams who need a technology assessment before closing; CTOs at mid-market banks, insurers and healthcare providers modernising critical systems; and founders from Series A to C who need senior technology leadership without a full-time hire.

Where are you based, and where do you work?

We're headquartered in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and work with clients across Europe and North America, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, the UK, Germany, France, the United States and Canada. Data is EU-resident by default, and we travel on-site for due diligence and key engagements.

How quickly can you start?

Most engagements begin within two weeks. For PE and M&A deals, a preliminary technology assessment is available in five business days, and full due diligence takes two to three weeks. Fractional tech leadership typically starts the week the contract is signed.

What makes Dutch Technology Frontiers different?

Two things. We don't run a pyramid model: senior engineers do the work. And we stay end to end: the person who scoped the project is still on the project in month six.

Do you specialise or work across industries?

We focus on high-stakes sectors: financial services, insurance, healthcare, private equity, software, logistics and manufacturing. If we're the wrong partner for your industry, we'll say so on the first call.
